Installing electronic remote systems for the firepit without cover is not recommended, especially in coastal areas, as water and exposure to salty environments voids the 1-year warranty. Battery packs provide a convenient option, but they require replacement every 3 to 6 months. Opting for a power outlet at the firepit location is preferable for long-term convenience and reliability.
The Safire Slick comes with a 1-year limited warranty on movable parts like the valve, the control and pilot light (excludes rust).
