Description
Kawmet P7 Cast Iron Fireplace is a Freestanding Wood burning fireplace that offers 12,2kW of heat. It is perfect for heating medium/large size rooms. The p7 is Ideal for those looking for a more traditional fireplace.
Closed Combustion fireplace
The Kawmet P7 Cast Iron fireplace is a closed combustion fireplace which offers more than twice the heat output of an open fireplace. Closed combustion Fireplaces are highly efficient and very economical. Closed combustion Fireplaces use approximately a third of the wood when compared to an open fire and transfer more heat back into the room rather than losing the heat through the flue outlet.
Cast Iron fireplace
These Cast iron fireplaces are strong and durable. Cast iron retains heat and will continue to radiate heat even after the fire has gone out.
Kawmet manufactures their wood burning fireplaces in Poland and has a 5-year warranty .
When cleaning your Kawmet P7 Cast Iron Fireplace glass we recommend you use the Ribitech Glass Cleaning spray.
RUNNING YOUR FIREPLACE
Control and Operate your fireplace correctly by Loading your wood periodically with one good sized load every hour. This is far better than adding small amounts of wood at regular intervals.
Once your previous load has burnt down to glowing orange coals, spread these coals across the bottom of the fireplace chamber and add your new load of wood on top.
The number of logs you add depends on the heat output that you require and the heating capabilities of your fireplace. For a 12kw heat output, 4 pieces of wood can be loaded into your fireplace per hour.
Once the new load of wood is burning well, close the air intake controls to the point where you have a slower flame.
When starting the fire on a cold day, add 4 pieces of wood and kindling. After the first hour, repeat. Thereafter, if the room has reached a comfortable temperature, the hourly load can be reduced to maintain the desired temperate level.
